It's time to celebrate our Arrow of Lights and have some fun at the Blue and Gold Banquet! All our dens and families come together to enjoy food, a show, and watch the AOL's crossover to Boy Scouts. Watching the older boys do this is a great experience for the younger ones to see! Please read all the information in this email (i know it is a lot!) then follow the link at the bottom to the Sign Up Genius.

The banquet will be held at Liberty Middle School 6801 Union Mill Road, 6:30-9:00PM. Please try to arrive on time. We want to make sure everyone has time to eat before the show starts at 7:00. 

This year we have Mad Science coming to do an interactive show called Spectacular Science: Fire and Ice! It is a fantastic show and fun for all ages!

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS RUN SMOOTHLY! There are 3 things we would really appreciate you to do on the Sign Up Genius.

1. The pack will be providing pizza, drinks, and a cake. Please sign up to bring chips, fruit, veggies, or cookies. 

2. RSVP and let us know how many family members are coming, including your Scout(s)

3. SIGN UP TO HELP. There are 3 areas you can help with-- SET UP, RUNNING ACTIVITY TABLES, and CLEAN UP. The more hands we have helping, the smoother it will go! We are asking the set up crew to arrive at 6:00. 

The activity tables are very simple. We will have tables with coloring pages and crosswords/word finds, making a frame out of  craft sticks, another craft with craft sticks, and a table with a Guess How Many Jar. All materials will be there for you, you just need to watch over it and help the kids.

Show support for our chartering organization, the Rotary Club of Centreville-Chantilly, at Centreville Day 2025! Parade starts at 11:00am from the eastern end of Wharton Lane and wend its way into the heart of the Centreville Day Marketplace by 11:30. The parade disperses when it turns onto Braddock Road.

Theme: Upcoming Camping Opportunities and Rocket Kit Build

5:45 – 6:30        Dinner

7:15 – 8:00        Crossover Ceremony

To have the maximum engagement with the magic show, we ask that scouts eat ahead of the 6:30 time so that they can be focused on the show instead of eating or making a mess.

Dinner will be a potluck, and the pack will be providing pizza, lemonade, and water. We ask that each family sign up to bring a dessert or side dish to share (please also indicate how many people from your family are attending).
